Gary Bayne
Born in Glasgow, Bayne grew up in the Scottish Borders, where the beautiful and rolling landscape now helps to influence most of his work.
He attended Earlston High School and after graduation moved to Glasgow to study for a BA Hons in fine art at the world famous Glasgow School of Art. After graduation Bayne continued to live in Glasgow as a Cocktail Bartender by night and as a Painter by day.
After traveling to the desert in Egypt and the paddy fields of Japan, Bayne returned to the Scottish Borders determined to capture the essence of the landscape that he considers the most beautiful in the world.
